He is the Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles in the Government of India. Early Life and Education

Piyush Goyal comes from a political family. His father, Vedprakash Goyal, was a Union Minister of Shipping and National Treasurer of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for over two decades. His mother, Chandrakanta Goyal, was elected three times to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Mumbai. Piyush Goyal is married to Seema Goyal, who is a social worker.
